Pacific Abrasive Supply Co. (PASCO) was founded in 1920 as an industrial distributor. We originally sold abrasives, cutting tools, carbides and other tools to manufacturers in California. Since we had several locations, we were one of the largest distributors in California.

In 1983 Pacific Abrasive was purchased by Mr. & Mrs. David M. Yeager and incorporated in July of that same year. Having worked for years in various sales and marketing positions with Pacific Abrasive's parent company, Carborundum Company, Mr. Yeager was very familiar with Pacific Abrasive's market and performance. As the General Sales Manager, Abrasive Marketing Division, Mr. Yeager oversaw the sales activities of Pacific Abrasive along with Carborundum's other abrasive holdings.

Upon acquiring PASCO, the Yeagers moved it into a modern 25,000 square foot facility which doubled the space from the previous location. A new $125,000 computer system was installed and the sales force was doubled. Manuevers which resulted in more than a 100% increase in sales over the following four years.

In 1988, Pacific Abrasive started the transition from distributor to manufacturer. In November of that year the first abrasive sanding belts were manufactured. Throughout the years, with strategic planning and aggressive reinvestment into the growth of the business, Pacific Abrasive has grown to the largest abrasive belt and disc converter in the United States.

Since 1999, Pacific Abrasive has been in its current 55,000 square foot facility. A facility which was chosen for its "ample" space - it more than doubled our previous building. However, with more than $1,125,000 in equipment investments in the past two years - quarters have quickly become cramped!
