Polyester Hard |
Polyester — Synthetic backings designed for their extreme strength, widely used in severe grinding and wide belt applications for metal, glass, and wood working. Polyester backed belts are waterproof, and can be used either wet or dry, and the belts are washable. Available in Aluminum Oxide, open and closed coat, Silicon Carbide, open and closed coat, and Zirconia Alumina closed coat |
Combination
An extra hard backing used mainly in floor sanding.
Resin Fibre
A .035" resin fibre backing used primarily in automtive and metalworking.
Mylar Film
This is the newest type of backing and provides an extremely uniform platform. Film back disc are primarily used on solid surface, cabinet making and automotive refinishing. Our film backed disc are an exceptional value and yield both long life and improved finish over paper products.
